I went out today, with two other ladies I was in Turkey with, to shoot the eagles nesting around Sheffield Mills, Nova Scotia – the Eagle Watch. As expected, I didn’t really get any good shots (but there are a few at the end of this post). We also drove around the area a bit and shot some other interesting things. No photos that I thought were amazing, but some that were good enough for this hunt, and just plain interesting.

Just a crow, not an eagle, but note the nice juice chicken's head in his mouth.

Not great, but the best eagle photo of the day.

  1. Great seeing you, Justine. Had a great time. Looked at my pictures and there is a stringy piece of dust on all of them. Will have to clean the camera but, in the meantime, Lightroom will come in handy.

  2. Kathy – Lightroom is definitely handy for that kind of thing! I hate when I get a stubborn piece of dust in my camera! And I always make it worse when I try and fix it! :)

    Taysin – Thank you!
