After a grand total of four (4!) whole hours spent on cross stitch in 2017, I came back in 2018 with a bang! (Comparatively speaking, that is.) I can thank that entirely on Twitch.
I started streaming on Twitch in March 2018 and my most frequent (and popular) streams are cross stitch streams, which I do most weekends. Honestly, if it wasn’t because I told the Internet that I was going to cross stitch twice a week, I can guarantee that I would have been lucky to match 2017’s total. No lie. Almost every time I stitched, in the back of my mind, I thought “I should really be doing this other thing right now”.
So, thank you, Twitch, because of you I stitched all these things last year!

The Cross Stitch Stats
I mentioned earlier that Twitch is the reason I got any cross stitch done in 2018. Not only that, it was my best year in a few years!
I stitched 151.75 hours (the most since 2015) over 76 days (the most since 2007! Holy shit!) with an average of 1.5 hours each of those days.
“Lifetime” total (or at least, since I started tracking in 2004) – 5152 hours spent stitching over 1056 days.
