Churches of Grand Pre

It’s been pointed out to me that I haven’t blogged in a while. It’s true. I’ve been really busy this summer shooting – hopefully more on some of that later – and getting ready for my first solo exhibit – definitely more on that soon! Things are starting to get back to get back to normal; hopefully that will be evident here on the blog soon. I did take some time out yesterday to go on a little drive around and photograph a bit of the area of Grand Pre.

The Churches of Grand Pre

A photo buddy and I decided to take an impromptu drive. No destination in mind, just a starting point. We headed to Horton Ridge Malt and Grain Company to sample some of their brews. (I needed another stamp on my 2017 Good Cheer Trail Passport.) They weren’t bad, but more importantly – the view from the taproom was amazing!

Next, it was suggested we visit the Covenator Church, which I’d never heard of before yesterday, but I’m glad for the stop. The church is small but full of charm, interesting angles and beautiful light.

We drove around some more, looking for some Uncommon Common Art. We didn’t find it, but did come across an even smaller, even more cute, church.

Our final stop was the local pub for drinks and food with some other friends.
