Description: 

This course is designed for individuals who are currently working in the Early Childhood Industry in Nova Scotia and is structured to allow learners the opportunity to study the concepts associated with the resolution of conflict.

After completing the course, the learner will have a foundation of understanding and a general overview of the concepts of dealing with problems and conflict. Learning outcomes include:

  1. Identify common sources of conflict in the workplace.
  2. Discuss the influence of cultural difference on conflict.
  3. Identify common conflict resolution strategies.

This course will be facilitation via a 2.5 hour video conference session on April 4th, followed by participation and assignments through email.
