Title: Understanding Others
Location: Video Conference; Valley location: NSCC Kingstec
Date: The module will be delivered via one video conference session. The remainder of the module will be delivered through email assignments. Video Conference Date: January 7, 2012

Description:
This course is designed for individuals who are currently working in the Early Childhood Industry in Nova Scotia. Learners will have the opportunity to study the concept that understanding the needs of others is an essential element in the promotion of collaboration and creating a respectful environment in the work place. They will examine effective; communication techniques, listening skills, team creation, feedback and reflective learning. Through portfolio development and personal reflection the learner will identify areas for personal growth and development.
