Kingstec’s Workshop Guidelines

In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, as well as cut costs, we encourage everyone to bring your own drinking vessel! Whether it’s a water bottle or travel mug you received at one of our workshops or something you picked up elsewhere, please bring one to our workshops.

Free workshops

  • You can register for these workshops by faxing 690-2186, calling 690-2514 or emailing justine.macdonald@nscc.ca with names, phone numbers and organization/centre of participants.
  • Pre-registration is required at least ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE so we can ensure enough space and materials are provided for, and that we have enough people to run the workshop

For workshops with a fee, remember:

  • One participant per registration form
  • Fill out the entire form with NSCC student ID OR SIN number OR Birth Date
  • Pre-registration AND payment are to be received by us at least ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE (unless otherwise noted)
  • Send form and payment to Justine at the ECDSC
  • Registrations cannot be processed, nor spaces held, unless the above guidelines are followed.
  • Cancellations must be processed before the workshop occurs. Therefore, to get a full refund, please contact us at least 2 business days prior to a workshop if you are unable to attend.

NOTE: We must sometimes cancel a workshop if there is a lack of participation and depending on the facilitators this can be done up to 2 weeks in advance. Please be sure to register as soon as possible to ensure that you will have a spot in the workshop and check for your workshop’s deadline.

ALSO: The Support Centre is a nut-free, scent-free facility. We ask that you refrain from eating or using nut products (including coconut oil) prior to attending workshops or sessions hosted by the ECDSC.  Please relay this message to your colleagues.

FINALLY: Please remember to bring your own drinking vessel (mug, glass, sport bottle, etc.) to help us save costs and the environment!  Thanks!
