How winter looks outside my window.

I love the blues and purples of a winter evening snow storm.  Winter is beautiful!

Also, I thought I turned commenting back on, but I guess I didn’t!  My bad.  Working now.  Sorry!

I noticed this snow sculpture yesterday on the bus ride home.  Luckily the route of the bus in that area meant that, today, I could get off the bus, snap a pic and get back on when it came back the same way.

Fitting considering we won 4 medals today AND beat the Russians at hockey!!!! GO CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey all, I’ve been concentrating on my other obsession (cross stitch) for the last few days so I haven’t been doing a lot of photos and stuff.  But I’m back now! (I think)

When I first started this challenge, I said that it might not always be photography.  Such is the case for Monday’s entry.  I spent most of the day at work creating a little site for an organization we’re helping out with.  Not that great, but I was pleased with my stylized valley/V/banner thingy :)

We had a “Fire and Ice” event on campus a while ago.  They had several ice sculpture.  I never found them, after the event, until today.  This is what’s left!

yeah… so we’re one of those people who don’t shovel our side walk.  To be fair, it’s not the side walk down the street (the village people do that :P Y-M-C-A!), this is the path leading up to our front door.  Mostly we’re too lazy.  Also, we’re anti-social.  We don’t want anyone coming to our house :P

I wasn’t feeling good yesterday and then when I was feeling better the Super Bowl was on, so I didn’t get my pic taken.  Took two today to make up for it, though!

Salt anyone?

Salt patterns on the sidewalk while waiting for the bus home.  That’s a lot of salt, and in my village they refuse to use any at all.  Go figure.
