I went grocery shopping today and to also pick up a few extra things for the new place.  At the checkout line in Zellers I came across this:

It’s a Star Wars Jedi candy fan!  A very good fan, actually, that had a package of M&Ms in the handle (which were quite tasty :P).  And here I managed to successfully pull myself away from the toy aisle without looking!  There was also a Leia but I was good and didn’t buy it… maybe next time…

I want to:  Buy the whole set, new of course!

Includes all six movies plus three discs/30 hours of bonus footage.  That’s the real reason I want this (I don’t even have a player yet!).  There haven’t really been a lot of good extras on the DVD releases so far, so I’m really looking forward to this! (Also, I only have PM on video still lol)

Anyone else?  Why?  Just to re-buy the movies or for the extras?

I kinda wish I could buy the extras on their own and skip the others!

Got a bit inspired today – maybe because I’ve been seeing a lot of lego all over, maybe I blame the cold/con crud I’m still feeling – and played with some old school legos

Can you even buy regular blocks and stuff anymore?  Or only the kits?

Step one: dump out the bricks. Even some old skool lego people!

My friend, joking, told me to build her a castle, so I did. I'm a bit out of practice, but it even has a gun turret! Every good castle needs defense.

And it has a garden with vines come down from the entry arch, a pond and fountain, and out of proportion bench.

Finally, here's a spiral staircase from the second floor and Princess Leia (it IS a castle, after all) at the table with a plate and a glass of blue milk.

On a related note… This 365 project is coming to a close.  Any suggestions of what I should do next, if anything?  I need a new project or focus – photography, design, writing, anything.  I had a project planned, but it’s no where near ready :(  suggestions?

Slowly getting ready for Star Wars Celebration 5!

In celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back yesterday, I made this lego X-Wing while watching the movie.  Took it out in the sun this morning to take a photo or two of it :)

I never seem to get to the photography on the days I’m stitching!  Ah well, here we go!
