Time Capsule – April 16

Posted in Time Capsule on April 16th, 2014 by Aurora

In April, 2001, we took a trip to Normandy.  Before we started the military portion of the trip, we made a few stops to see Versailles, as well as the Bayeaux Tapestry.  Expect a lot of war-related photos in the next couple of days.

Read more about the trip on my blog (and excuse the missing links – A future project!)

Another shot of a frozen Annapolis River.

I was trying out the Prinzfelx camera I got from my mum. All I did to this photo was change it to black and white and bump the contrast. All other artifacts were there in scanning the film.

If you’re interested, here’s the original scan:

Time Capsule – August 22

From the Past

Last year, the local Air Force base had an Open House.  There was an airshow, a ‘parade’ of sorts with military bands, and some old battle reenactments.  I believe this group was from the Citadel in Halifax.
