Been busy with spring cleaning (yeah, I know it’s summer… : ) )  Finally catching up!

Just some of the magazines I should probably get around to at least flipping through…  I’ve since let most, if not all of these subscriptions lapse for now.  Stupid money…

With all the work I’ve been doing the last few days, fans have definitely come in handy.  It’s been hot!

Yay!! I actually posted a photo a day!!

Tomorrow I leave for Toronto for the weekend.  Daily photos will come via Posterous until Monday.

I used a plastic crystal/prism thing and took a photo of my bowl of ice cream through it.

Book theme continued.  This is a book of WWI inspired poetry.

This morning, I took my pup out for a nice 2-hr walk.  We went down to the village’s swimming pool which is right next to a creek.  In spring it’s quite rushing with run-off from the ridge (I refuse to call it a mountain like everyone else around here).  There’s still quite a bit of snow up there!  Unfortunately, it was really the worst time of day to go, as the sun was much too bright, so my photos weren’t that great.  Near the swimming pool, however, was this beat up old wooden trailer.

Hopefully I’ll get back to the stream at a better time of day and get some good photos!

Wow, I was so into my cross stitch yesterday that I totally forgot to take my photo!  So we’ve got TWO today!  :)  And I also haven’t scanned more photos… perhaps this Time Capsule thing will have to wait a while.

A Zebra?  Or maybe the sun streaming through the blinds onto a blanket?  You decide :P  (hint:  I have no zebras in my house ;) )

I have no idea how old this bottle of wine was when we took it from my grandparents house after they died.  That was in 2001.  We drank it this past Christmas.
